Sheriff's Log

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office received 522 calls for service between 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, and 5:59 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8.

All individuals listed are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

INCIDENTS

A Stihl chain saw, Homelite weedeater, crossbox, Cricket cellphone and a ring with an estimated total value of $660 were reported stolen in the 17500 block of W. Rice Avenue in Hauser Lake

A safe, cash and a vehicle title with an estimated total value of $150 were reported stolen in the 1300 block of W. Garwood Road in Rathdrum

A financial transaction card number was reported stolen in the 15500 block of S. Hawk Road in Harrison

A 1991 Subaru Legacy with an estimated value of $1,000 was reported stolen and recovered in the 1600 block of E. Pennsylvania Avenue in Coeur d’Alene

A 1993 Toyota Camry with an estimated value of $2,000 was reported stolen in the 5800 block of E. Highway 54 in Athol

Two vehicle tires with an estimated total value of $350 were reported damaged in the 11000 block of N. Joshua Court in Hayden

A window with an estimated value of $300 was reported damaged in the 3500 block of E. Tobler Road in Hayden

Carissa R. Campbell, 26, was cited for causing an estimated $25 in damage to a wall at a business in the 27800 block of N. Highway 95 in Athol

A window with an estimated value of $100 was reported damaged in the 1900 block of E. 12th Avenue in Post FAlls

Trespassing was reported and a warning was issued near E. Centennial Trail and W. Suzanna Road in Coeur d’Alene

Trevor L. Crain, 28, was cited for trespassing near the intersection of S. Highway 95 and W. Kidd Island Road in Coeur d’Alene

Trespassing was reported at a business in the 37900 block of S. Nukwalqw Road in Worley

A scam call involving Publishers Clearing House was reported in the 25200 block of N. Old Highway 95 in Athol

Fireworks were reported near the intersection of Hauser Lake Road and W. Highway 53 in Hauser Lake

Fireworks were reported near the intersection of N. Corbin Road and W. Hudlow Drive in Post Falls

Fireworks were reported in the 13300 block of W. Harmon Avenue in Post Falls

A battery was reported at a business in the 37900 block of S. Nukwalqw Road in Worley

Matthew D. Parker, 30, was arrested on a warrant in the 3200 block of W. Ridge Road in Post Falls

Lacey D. Parkhurst, 20, was arrested on a warrant in the 27800 block of N. Highway 95 in Athol

Blayne E. Hundt, 27, was arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child in the 1000 block of W. Heron Avenue in Hayden

Damon O. Rowe, 33, was arrested for resisting or obstructing law enforcement in the 8800 block of N. Davis Circle in Hayden

David W. Lamont, 64, was arrested for domestic battery, domestic assault and malicious injury to property in the 34400 block of N. Cherokee Road in Bayview

Tonya M. Lenz was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 3300 block of W. Hayden Avenue in Hayden

Thomas W. Torgenson, 50, was arrested for domestic battery and attempted strangulation in the 4800 block of E. Fernan Hill Road in Coeur d’Alene. Kathleen J. Torgenson, 48, was cited for domestic battery at the same location.

Thomas M. Chew, 45, was arrested on a warrant in the 100 block of E. Ryan Drive in Hayden

Justin W. Shockley, 29, was arrested for domestic battery, domestic assault, kidnapping and telephone harassment in the 3700 block of E. Diagonal Road in Rathdrum

Daniel R. Wentland, 21, was arrested on a warrant near the intersection of N. Highway 95 and W. Highway 53 in Rathdrum

Kanon M. Charbonneau, 33, was arrested for domestic battery, attempted strangulation, grand theft, battery on a police officer, kidnapping, driving under the influence, malicious injury to property and destruction of telecommunication equipment, in the 1500 block of S. Marina Drive in Coeur d’Alene

Derrick l. Heater, 51, was arrested for assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful entry and malicious injury to property in the 1600 block of E. Chilco Road in Rathdrum

Makayle R. Marshall, 18, was arrested on a warrant at a business in the 37900 block of S. Nukwalqw Road in Worley

Blake A. Miller, 26, was arrested for driving under the influence at milepost 13 in Interstate 90

Mason J. Upchurch, 25, was arrested for driving under the influence and driving without privileges near the intersection of E. Lancaster Road and N. Ferndale Drive in Hayden

Joseph M. Vandevanter, 32, was arrested for operating a watercraft under the influence in the 1500 block of S. Marina Drive in Coeur d’Alene
