BANKS: Rules don't apply

| September 25, 2016 9:00 PM

Once again it comes to the streets of America that bigger is not better. A mere two weeks ago, another big bank’s failure to keep the public in its best interest made headlines because of its system to open accounts that really weren’t accounts. It was reported this week that a fine of $185 million had already been paid. This of course is the admission of guilt in very short order.

The major big banks in the USA which number very few continue to live by what appears to be a different set of rules or laws. They continue to do whatever they want, within the laws or not. If not and they get caught, just pay the fine and life goes on; the customers won’t miss the funds. It appears not one employee becomes accountable or even on the hot seat. Congressional hearings in recent history have had no effect on putting the brakes on the games that are taking place.

May I suggest to ALL, having just completed the book titled “JPMADOFF” by Helen Chairman and Lance Gotthoffer, to give it a read. It will help you understand the gravity of our big banks’ unwillingness to attempt to play by the rules. The authors have firsthand knowledge of what they write, having been the attorneys for hundreds of people who lost their savings. The focus, simply put, is Greed, Corruption, Arrogance and Power.

My sole purpose of this script is not to sell books. I was 45 years in the hardwood lumber industry. In these times of uncertain principles, we all need to see what is truly happening before our very eyes,

We need change.
