Kim Cooper named Realtor of the Year

The Coeur d’Alene Association of Realtors has selected Kim Cooper of Select Brokers Real Estate as its 2016 Realtor of the Year. This award is bestowed upon members who epitomize the Realtor Code of Ethics, represent the industry though their involvement in the community and excel in industry performance.

Cooper has represented the association in a variety of capacities including President in 2012. He continues to contribute through writing a weekly newspaper column, serving on the Professional Standards Committee and volunteering for a variety of area nonprofits. He most recently was named a mediator for the Association after attending intensive training at the National Association of Realtors in Chicago, Ill.

Boifeuillet joins Kootenai Health Foundation board

Rebecca “Becky” McIntire Boifeuillet has joined the Kootenai Health Foundation board. She joins Mike Chapman, chair; Peter Wagstaff, vice chair; Linda Fournier, past chair; Steve Griffitts, treasurer; Georgianne Jessen, secretary; Eve Knudsten; and board members Chris Meyer, Chad Murray and Russ Porter.

Boifeuillet is employed by Super 1 Foods, which is owned and operated by the McIntire family. Raised in Hayden, and a graduate of Coeur d’Alene High School, Boifeuillet has spent many years volunteering for the Coeur d’Alene School District in various roles. She is the secretary for Troop 249 of the Northwest Council of the Boy Scouts of America and teaches at her church. Boifeuillet is enrolled at Brigham Young University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marriage and family studies. In her spare time, she enjoys genealogy, camping, snow skiing, snowmobiling, crocheting, gardening, boating, and reading. Boifeuillet and her husband, George, reside in Hayden and have three children, Alexandra, Erika and Christopher, who have all been born at Kootenai Health.

“Kootenai Health and the Foundation are grateful for the leadership of our directors and appreciate their willingness to volunteer their time and talents to serve our patients and the community,” said, Britt Towery, Kootenai Health Foundation manager. “Their dedication to advocate for and support the philanthropic efforts of our community-owned, nonprofit hospital is positively impacting the health care of our community today and into the future.”

Kootenai Health Foundation was established in 1983 to support the expanding health care needs of our community. The mission of the Foundation is to advance the health of our community by developing, managing and stewarding philanthropy to support the success of Kootenai Health. Over the past 32 years, gifts to the Foundation have provided over $15 million to directly support patient care at Kootenai Health.
