As the leaves begin to turn, the Dover Bay Waterfront Community remains a gorgeous locale for late summer/early fall outdoor fun and relaxation.

It’s also a great time to start thinking about ownership possibilities for next season, and the Parkside Bungalows neighborhood is a premium location offering a modern “family lake cabin”-style residence.

The nostalgic style in Parkside Bungalows is coupled with modern kitchens, cozy fireplaces, large entertainment decks and other top-of-the-line conveniences. Located just steps from Dover Bay’s Marina Village, the first phase of Parkside Bungalows touts more than 10 home designs with layouts that feature 1-3 bedrooms, 1-3 baths, carports and/or two-car attached garages.

For those eager to watch the seasons change, one move-in ready home is currently available. The “Banff” design is a two-bedroom home with walk-in closet, two full baths with tile surround shower, open kitchen with WilsonArt countertops and roomy dining and living areas. Other amenities include an abundance of storage space, GE appliances (including refrigerator, washer and dryer), instant hot water tank, natural gas forced air heating and A/C, lighted car port and fully landscaped outdoor space with sprinkler system. The home is offered at $239,000.

Construction on the final four bungalows of Phase One is slated to begin this fall, all of which can be completed before summer returns in 2017. Buyers can choose their own finishes and select from the following design styles:

Two “Deerborn” style homes available: Open floor plan with two bedrooms, two bath, gas insert fireplace with tile surround, WilsonArt countertops, GE appliances, gas forced air heating and A/C, lighted carport and fully landscaped outside area with sprinklers.

One “Alberta” style home: A spacious bungalow with one bedroom, full bath, generous kitchen, detailed dining area and living room with gas fireplace looking out towards an entertaining porch.

One “Greenside” style home: Open floor plan with three bedrooms, three baths, an upper level family home, gas insert fireplace, hardwood flooring throughout kitchen, living area and hallway, large open kitchen and all the other premium amenities listed in the other design styles.

Pricing ranges from $189,000 to $289,000 on these four homes. Reservations are now being taken for Parkside’s Phase Two, which will begin directly to the west of Phase One. Buyers in Phase Two can choose from more than 10 home styles.

The low-maintenance neighborhood is immaculately maintained, freeing owners of any worries when leaving the home for long periods of time. The Homeowner’s Association dues in Parkside Bungalows are $285 per month and includes lawn maintenance, landscaping, window washing, snow removal, water and sewer.

Early fall is the perfect opportunity to experience everything the Dover Bay community has to offer. Off-season rates are now in place at the Marina Village, which offers boat and slip rentals as well as numerous other outdoor opportunities. Fall rates are also in place for vacation rental offerings.

The 274-slip Marina Village is located just outside of the neighborhood, complete with fitness center, swimming pool and spa, market and more. The Dish, Dover Bay’s full service restaurant, remains open for dinner.

Parkside Bungalows are just one of 11 neighborhoods in the Dover Bay community, which boasts more than nine acres of beaches and parks, as well as nine miles of scenic walking and biking trails.

Tours of the community are available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and by appointment on weekends. Explore more of Dover Bay at www.DoverBayIdaho.com, or contact John Sletager or Marie Garvey at (208) 265-1597.
