Mead, picked to finish third in the 4A GSL, defeated Post Falls 41-3 last week. Coeur d’Alene handled Central Valley, picked to finish second in the 4A GSL, 47-11 last Friday. The Vikings opened the season at Folsom (Calif.) on Aug. 27.
