North Idaho Inferno 02 girls Orange: The Inferno beat the CWSA Navy 7-0 on Sunday at Post Falls High.

Claire Romero scored a hat trick for the Inferno. Sarah Hines scored two goals, and Kaylee Moate (penalty kick) and Lilith Tweedy each scored once. Tierra Lambert had two assists, and Romero, Jade Reed and Morgan Rust each had one assist. Autumn Lambert had one save in the shutout.

Coeur d’Alene Sting Timbers Red U12 girls: The Sting beat the Tri-Cities 3-0 on Saturday. McKenzie Goings, Ella Morton and Avery Waddington each scored a goal, and Jocelyn Dennis had an assist. Mekare East-Peters had four saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Sting Timbers FC Yellow: The Sting played the Spokane Sounders 06 South to a 3-3 tie on Saturday. Sally Gatten had a hat trick for the Sting.

Inferno FC 07 girls Hartzell: The Inferno lost 5-4 to Davenport 07 Soliday on Saturday. Juliette Gilmor, Zoey Manley, Kennedy Hartzell, and Ellie McGowan scored goals for Inferno.

Inferno FC 05 girls Hartzell: The Inferno tied 2-2 against Spokane Foxes Pumas 05 Bryntesen on Saturday. Alaska Stone and Hadley West scored for Inferno.

Sting Timbers FC 03 boys Red: The Sting tied 1-1 with CWSA 03 Boys Navy in Yakima. Christopher Swider scored the goal for the Sting, assisted by Quinn Clovis.

Sting Timbers FC 06 boys Black: The Sting played their final game of the fall season against Spokane Sounders 06 North-A on Saturday. Scoring for the Sting were Aidan Rice, Connor Mongan and Braden Latscha.

Sting FC 02 girls: The Sting beat Shadow Elite 03-Dimmler 13-0 on Saturday. Geneva Bengtson scored 4 goals, one a header goal off of a corner kick by Abbie Lyman; Sydney Harbison, Cailyn Garza and Liz Scarlett scored 2 goals each; Abbie Lyman, Alexi Wilson and Tate Hochberger each scored once. Assists were made by Tate Hochberger, Abbie Lyman, Grace Anderson-Mosher, Julieanna Stith, Cailyn Garza and Alexi Wilson.

Sting Red 05 girls: The Sting beat Three Rivers 3-0 on Saturday at Hayden Meadows. MacKenzie Goings, Ella Morton and Avery Waddington each scored once. Jocelyn Dennis had two assists, Taleya Jones one.

Sting Timbers girls 04 Red: The Sting beat the Spokane Foxes/Pumas FC girls 04 Kropp 3-0 on Saturday at Canfield Middle School. Goals were scored by Gabby Roberts, Isabella Lucky and Reagan Cherry. Isabella Lucky had an assist. Danika Nowak had the shutout as keeper.

On Sunday, the Sting Timbers beat the Spokane Foxes/Pumas FC G04 Tweedy 3-1 in Spokane. Olivia Wyatt, Reagan Cherry and Zoe Gephart each scored a goal for the Sting, and Isabella Lucky and Zoe Gephart each had an assist. The Sting remains undefeated in PSPL league play.

Sting Timbers FC 03 girls Red: The Sting beat the SSC Shadow United girls 03 Denman 6-0 last weekend. Sting Timbers goal were scored by Kamryn Becker (assist Amber Aittama), Amber Aittama (assist Kali McKellips), Isabella Henkle, Chloe Biediger and Kalli McKellips (2 goals).

Sting Timbers FC boys 06 Green: The Sting won 6-2 over FC Spokane B06 Black-Bly on Saturday. Haidyn Jonas led the Sting Timbers with 3 goals. Connor Jump had 1 goal and 3 assists. Owen Hickok and Kason Pintler each had 1 goal. Ben Hannigan-Luther had 1 assist.

Inferno Briseno boys 04: The Inferno beat the IEYSA Breakers FC-Red B04 Arnold 4-0 last Saturday. Keith Aparicio made 2 goals and Malachi Hutchens and Kael McGowan each scored once in the win.

Sting Timbers boys FC 04 Red: The Sting defeated Shadow 03 Oliver last Saturday 13-0. Noah Janzen scored four goals, Tyler Gasper two, and Patrick Du, Bryce Allred, Talon Mitchell, Byron Anderson, Alex Reyes, Andon Brandt and Jack Schrontz each scored once.

Sting Timbers 05 boys Red (Thompson): The Sting won a pair of games last weekend at Hayden Meadows.

On Saturday, the Sting beat the Spokane Pumas Valley (Carlsen) 5-1: Landon Lee had two goals and Nate Wyatt, Caden Thompson and Gavin Schoener each scored once for the Sting. Miles Taylor had two saves.

On Sunday the Sting beat the Breakers Black 2-1 on a pair of goals by Cooper Prohaska. Miles Taylor had seven saves.

Sting Timbers FC boys 04 Red: The Sting defeated the Sandpoint Strikers U13 4-1 on Oct. 15. Sting goals were scored by Alex Reyes (2), Joseph Sarkis and Noah Janeen. Bryce Allred had two assists.

WRESTLING

Team Real Life: Team Real Life wrestlers traveled to Las Vegas joining over 3,500 other wrestlers from around the country for the 2016 NUWAY Freakshow. TRL had two champions at this two-day event. Ridge Lovett beat Jacob Allen of Poway (Calif.) High in the finals by decision, 2-1, to win the Freakshow High School Elite Division. Likewise, Brelane Huber beat Alaura Couch of La Palma, Calif., in the finals by a major decision, 10-0, to win the Freakshow Women’s Elite Division.

KTigers Taekwondo: The Coeur d’Alene club recently attended a large martial arts competition called the Washington State Governor’s Cup on Oct. 22.

The competition had close to 1,000 competitors from over 65 different martial arts schools from all over Washington, California, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and Canada. KTigers Taekwondo was the only school representing the Kootenai County/Spokane County area, and took 21 students, competing in various Poomsae (form), board breaking and sparring categories. KTigers brought home a total of 30 first-place gold medals, 15 second-place silver medals, and 17 bronze medals.
