David D. Schaffer, 72

David was born Feb. 3, 1944, in Kellogg, Idaho, passed Oct. 20, 2016. Dave was raised and attended school in Coeur d’Alene. He founded Schaffers Towing and worked at Sunset Towing.

David loved to hunt, fish and spending time with family and friends. His passion was towing and helping others.

David is survived by his brothers, Lavern, Jim and Ron; daughters Teresa, Sandy and Cheri; grandchildren Robert ,Christopher, Amanda, Michael and Derek; and great-grandchildren Kaiden, Kole and Kayleeann.

A memorial will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at The Christ of King Lutheran Church, 1700 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Coeur d’Alene.
