St. Vincent de Paul Fashion Show is Friday

St. Vinny’s fourth annual Fashion Show takes place Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn.

“Each year this event gets a little bigger and offers a little more excitement,” said organizers. “For the first time, professional surfer Shelby Detmers is flying here to model and sign autographs.”

And Minnie McDonald will join others on the runway. Minnie, 91, has worked for St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho for the past 44 years.

Other fashion show participants include: Coeur d’Alene Mayor Steve Widmyer and Marie Widmyer, Dalton Gardens Mayor Steve Roberge, Rocky Owens, David Bobbitt, Angela and JJ Jaeger, Marie Price and Julie and Paul Amador.

The price for a table of eight is $320 and individual tickets are $45. Sponsor tables are available. The evening includes entrance to the fashion show, drawing items and heavy hors d’oeuvres. All proceeds from this event will benefit the St. Vincent de Paul warming centers.
