POST FALLS — The Post Falls Police Department is investigating a theft case involving a motor home valued at $140,000 stolen Wednesday from Blue Dog RV.

The 2016 Georgetown Forest River, which is 33-feet long, was stolen around 5:15 a.m., according to the police report.

According to PFPD, the thief was able to use the RV to push through a locked gate which runs along Seltice Way. After getting through the gate, the RV headed westbound on Seltice, according to the police report.

Blue Dog has had theft issues in the past according to PFPD's Pat Knight, generally thefts of flatscreen TVs from RVs.

"There's a reason that RV was picked, and that's what we're trying to figure out," Knight said. "A motor home is something hard to hide, so we're hoping it pops up around here."
