AMADOR: Fiscally prudent

With the massive federal debt burdening our future generations, we should be proud to live in a state that often exhibits fiscal restraint and has a balanced budget. We have an obligation to vote for candidates that will ensure Idaho lives within its means. Paul Amador, Republican candidate for Idaho House Seat 4B is the one candidate that I believe will ensure Idaho remains fiscally responsible.

I have concerns anytime I hear a candidate advocating for more spending on every issue; this seems to be code for increasing our taxes in Idaho. I have known Paul Amador for quite some time and he consistently argues that we need to ensure we efficiently utilize our state funds, work to streamline state government, and pay for improvements through growth. Mr. Amador understands that we cannot legislate economic growth through higher taxation, we create growth by developing an environment where businesses can hire highly skilled and well paid employees.

I care deeply about this community and about the future we are leaving to our children. We need to elect individuals who will ensure our future is not overwhelmed by debt. For these reasons I am voting for Paul Amador for House Seat 4B, I hope you join me in voting for our future on Nov. 8.
