The teams are showing their support by wearing pink socks during games and selling Bring'n The Pink T-shirts at local events. Funds raised will be donated to the Cancer Patient Support Program at Kootenai Health.</p>

COEUR d’ALENE RECREATION

Basketball signups: The Coeur d’Alene Recreation Department will register Oct. 3-12 for 3rd-5th grade boys and girls basketball leagues. Games are held Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturday during the day. Games are set to begin the second week of November and run through December.

Registration for 6th-8th grade boys and girls basketball is Oct.13-21. This program is set to begin mid November and run through December. Games and practices are held weekdays and Saturdays at local schools.

Cost for these programs is $26 for city residents and $31 for non-city residents. Registration is at the Coeur d’Alene City Hall, 710 Mullan Avenue.

A Kindergarten-2nd grade program will register in January and be held in February and March.

Coeur d’Alene Sting Timbers FC 05 boys White: The Sting tied the Spokane Shadow SC of Spokane Valley 3-3 under rainy skies on Saturday at Hayden Meadows. Conner Jump, Jaron Voeller and Isaac Fritz each scored once for the Sting.

Sting Timbers 07 boys Green: The Sting Timbers played two games on Saturday. The first game they won 7-3 against the Strikers Black. Keaton Gust had a hat trick. Brett Johnson scored 2 goals and Liam Martin and Kyle Waddell both had 1.

The second game the Sting Timbers won 4-0 against the Sting Timbers FC 08B Yellow. Kyle Waddell, Keaton Gust, Sawyer Anderson and Rylan Brandt all scored 1 goal. Dylan Memmott and Olin Young teamed in goal for the shutout.

Sting Timbers 03 boys red: The Sting Timbers beat TC United 4-1 on Saturday in Lacey, Wash. Walker Jump scored twice for the Sting Timbers, and Quinn Clovis and Christopher Swider each scored one goal. Assists were made by Jack Pinto and Christopher Swider.

North Idaho Inferno 07 girls Hartzell: The Inferno played a doubleheader on Saturday. The Inferno beat SFPSC G07 Morales 3-2 with goals from Kennedy Hartzell and Ellie McGowan, then lost to Valor G07 McDonald 3-2 with their two goals again from Hartzell and McGowan.

Inferno FC 05 girls Hartzell: The Inferno won 5-1 against IEYSA Storm FC G05 Adams on Sunday. Ashlyn Deruyter (1), Alaska Jones (2), Ellie McGowan (1) and Jaylene Ziegler (1) scored for the Inferno.

Inferno FC U14 boys Johnson: The Inferno won 5-1 against the IEYSA Breakers FC Red. Logan Koller scored two goals for the Inferno and Caleb Calkins, Alex Peters and Matt McLeod each scored a goal.

Inferno 04 boys Briseno: The Inferno beat the IEYSA Valor SC B04 Maroon Wilburn 5-0 on Saturday at Mt. Spokane High School. Keith Aparicio scored a hat trick in the win, and Malachi Hutchens and Zachary Engelson each scored once.

Inferno 06 boys: The Inferno recorded their 3rd PSPL win of the fall season with an 8-5 decision over Storm FC. Connor Carmignani scored a hat trick for the Inferno, Luke Heffter contributed 2 goals and James Waters, Justice Smith and Tyler Engelson each scored once.

Sting Timbers 02 boys: The Sting Timbers beat the SSC Shadow United B02 Vierra 5-1 on Sunday. Walker Jump led the Sting Timbers with 2 goals and 1 assist. Chris Swider had 1 goal and 2 assists. Rylan Carter had 1 goal and 1 assist, and Miles Jones added 1 goal. Martin Bene was in goal for the Sting Timbers.

Sting Timbers 04 girls red: The Sting Timbers beat the Wenatchee Valley United Soccer Club Pumas 5-0 in PSPL league play Saturday in Wenatchee. Sting goals were scored by Isabella Lucky (2), Kylie Stone, Amy Corette, and Olivia Wyatt. Isabella Lucky had two assists, and Olivia Wyatt and Zoe Gephart each had one. Danika Nowak had the shutout in goal.

Brodie Wadell had 1 rushing touchdown and 3 fumble recoveries. Maddox Maciosek also added a rushing touchdown. Alex Green and Zach Johnson led the defense with 4 sacks each and 2 forced fumbles.
