MURRAY: Ideal NIC trustee

| October 2, 2016 9:00 PM

While many voters are perplexed over the choices in the ucoming presidential election, the choice is clear-cut in a race closer to home: the North Idaho College Trustee election. Brad Murray’s background and experience eminently qualify him to take a seat on the North Idaho College Board of Trustees.

As a retired Lakeland School District superintendent, Brad is tuned in to the unique post-secondary training and educational needs of the students and citizens in his district. As a former high school industrial arts teacher, a technology education instructor, and director of the regional cooperative technical-professional education effort, he is in a leading position to assist the college in its initiative to expand professional-technical program offerings. A former principal and coach, Brad worked to foster success for all students, a chief goal in NIC’s mission.

Brad is well known in the communities he served by developing partnerships with local businesses to bring education and business closer together. Based on his academic record, his background in technical education, his deep commitment to community involvement in education, Brad clearly has much to offer the college and the voters. Please join me in casting your vote for Brad Murray for NIC trustee.
