David and Carole Tabakman

40th Anniversary

On Sunday, Nov. 20, David and Carole (Henry) Tabakman will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.

Married at Memorial Park in Claremont, Calif., David and Carole lived in Pomona, Calif., for 16 years. In 1992, they moved to Coeur d’Alene. David was a high school soccer coach in Pomona and Coeur d’Alene. He was a computer programmer before moving to Coeur d’Alene; then worked for the Coeur d’Alene School District.

Carole worked in various commercial liability and property insurance agencies throughout their marriage. She retired in 2014.

They like to travel and have been abroad many times including Israel, Spain, England, Belgium, Germany, France, Amsterdam and Denmark. They are planning a month trip to San Felipe, Mexico, in January.

They have one son, Erich Mandrell (Elke) who lives in Spokane and a daughter, Erin Diebold, from Upland, Calif. Also a daughter, Toyna Hollinrake in Redlands, Calif. They have four grandchildren, Haley, Alexis, Kailey and Tanner.
