Elynuik, Anderson-Dolan lead Chiefs in romp

SPOKANE — Hudson Elynuik and Jared Anderson-Dolan each recorded a hat trick on Friday night as the Spokane Chiefs routed the Vancouver Giants 10-1 in Western Hockey League action in front of 4,867 at Spokane Arena.

Elynuik picked up his first career hat trick, as he had three goals and two assists. Anderson-Dolan had his second career hat trick, with three goals and an assist.

Keanu Yamamoto finished with a career-high six assists, one off of the team record. Maxim Bets holds the team record with seven assists, set on March 16, 1994.

The Chiefs (10-8-4-1, 25 points) remain tied with Portland for fourth place in the U.S. Division. They are one point back of third-place Seattle.

Spokane hosts Edmonton tonight at 7:05.
