LETTER: Proof of 'indoctrination'

| November 25, 2016 8:00 PM

Where’s a grain of salt when you need one? A letter in the Nov. 20 Press purports to be from a local middle school student throwing all the standard Democrat charges at Trump: racism, sexism, discrimination — on and on, but as usual, without specific evidence. Significantly, another letter offers voluntary reading help.

We’ve had plenty of examples all over the country where teachers politically indoctrinate students instead of teaching them. This reads very like another one of those. The writer claims to “know kids who tried to convince their parents not to vote for Trump;” “Trump will take us back to an America — where only white males held places of power;” “Many of us thought Trump was just a joke.”

Have you ever seen a number of middle school students sitting around discussing politics (of course with open minds and balanced input)? “Trump says things that completely go against all of what we have been taught and believe.” Finally, an obviously true statement. Parents had better pay closer attention to what activist indoctrinators pump into their children’s heads. It’s standard liberal procedure to use unsuspecting children as their messengers. This is where we get those college students who can’t even spell personal responsibility, can’t read, demand free education, live in mommy’s basement and leach off the parents’ medical insurance — as they huddle in “safe spaces” with tears running down their flushed cheeks. This is why America needs to be made great again.

Pass the salt.
