ELECTION: Come together

In the wake of the pending changes to our national leadership, the Board of Directors of the North Idaho Pride Alliance acknowledges the sadness, fear and anger that many LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones are experiencing. We encourage people to reach out to each other, offering support and creating hope where you may see despair. We will not fight hate with hate. We will not give power to fear and anger. We will stand together and we will create change. We are not giving up and we are not shrinking. Our community has worked too hard and too long to create a more just and safe place for all of us.

Our values and commitment are stronger now than ever. The Pride Alliance remains constant in our mission of being a LGBTQA+ and ally networking organization that provides opportunities for people to connect with one another and to create a more unified community for all people in North Idaho.

We will use this time to be even more vigilant to the protection and advancement of human rights, especially for our LGBTQ brothers and sisters. We will continue to work to affect positive change and we will continue to make our community a better place to live. We invite you to join us. WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!
