ELECTION: Concern for tomorrow

My concern is for my grandchildren. I am a white born-again evangelical Christian. I love Jesus Christ, but I now feel concern.

After hearing about children, from Latino, black and other ethnic and religious groups, being afraid and asking their parents “am I going to have to leave?”, some even having nightmares, I started to cry.

My grandchildren are both white, but they play with other children of different races and religions. My granddaughter’s best friend is an immigrant from a very early age and is a beautiful, sweet-natured darker skinned child. I have cried over this issue. What do I say to my grandchildren? WHAT DO I SAY?
