ELECTION: Colleges not helping

Those of us blessed with even a little common sense are ecstatic with the results of the election. However, I am very worried and disturbed by the number of mentally challenged Democrats participating in the destructive demonstrations around the country. The fact that many of these demonstrators are reportedly college educated individuals only confirms my long held belief that the liberal “educators” in our schools and colleges are contributing to the demise of our country by infecting our young people with ideas that have no rational basis in fact.

Colleges no longer appear to be institutions of debate and learning new and different ways of thinking. I cannot believe some of the stupid things many colleges are doing to “protect” their students from hearing about ideas or positions that might “hurt their feelings” or prevent students from expressing positions that might be different from the accepted liberal positions.

Today, many, many Democrats are promoting the exact things they have been opposed to. If the colleges continue to turn out students with this type of defective thinking and the population of those with no rational understanding of basic economics continues to increase, then this country is in serious trouble. Under Trump we have real chance to turn things around but Washington needs the help of every intelligent Democrat if real progress is to be made.
