PLOWS: Here's a solution

In regard to the very understandable concern addressed in the “Plows, Don’t block us in” letter from Carol Morrisen, there is a very readily available answer to this real problem, that fortunately, for us in Coeur d’Alene, is already in use by our evidently more up-to-date and citizen sensitive city street department, for which we are very appreciative.

Don’t know the precise technical term about the snow plow used by our Coeur d’Alene street care department, but it has an end-of-the-plow, driver-operated section that can be dropped down to prevent the very obstruction across driveways that Carol is speaking up about. Suggest that her town’s street department director make contact with this Coeur d’Alene department to find out where these plows can be obtained, or likely how their presently used plows might be adapted to accept this as an updating modification.
