CHURCH: Sermon's key points

| November 4, 2016 9:00 PM

I, too, was in church Oct. 23 and heard Pastor Paul’s sermon about America and the need to vote. This is a very crucial time for us to test our judgment and refine it with the truths and knowledge we have learned from our Bible. The time I speak of is now, just before election day in our great nation.

There were three powerful points that I remember were brought out during the sermon. One was abortion. I myself believe a life begins at conception and abortion is not an acceptable alternative for birth control. Hillary Clinton believes it is.

Another powerful point was marriage between one man and one woman. I believe from the beginning this union was sanctified by God because by a union of this kind was the only way a child is born. (I know this is old fashioned and leaves the modern day complexities of other human sexual attractions.) Don’t foget God’s words and wisdom is not to be taken lightly.

The third point Pastor Paul spoke of the Supreme Court judges. There is a need for NO MORE liberal judges. Hillary Clinton is way too liberal in her beliefs and would probably pick more liberal judges. I believe this would be bad for our great nation because it takes us too far away from Godly thinking and trust.

I pray we remember the Great God we are supposed to worship and the biblical truths he has given us. Let’s follow Him through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
