College of Idaho volleyball

Meehan, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter from Post Falls High and North Idaho College, was named Cascade Conference Attacker of the Week for the third time this season, the conference announced on Monday. Against Oregon Tech, Meehan had six aces, seven kills and 14 digs and against Southern Oregon, she had a match-high 19 kills, eight digs and one ace — both Yote wins. She finished the week with 26 kills, 22 digs and eight aces.

Idaho cross

country

Story, a redshirt freshman from Coeur d’Alene High, finished ninth in the Big Sky Championships on Oct. 27, finishing in 17 minutes, 59 seconds to help the Vandals finish fourth, Story was named Big Sky Freshman of the Year after the meet.

Jake Finney

Washington State cross country

Finney, a sophomore who competed at Lake City High, finished 46th in the Pac-12 Championships at the Randolph North Golf Course in Tucson, Ariz. on Oct. 28, finishing in 25:34.7.
