BANDUCCI: Represents entire county

| November 2, 2016 9:00 PM

This letter is to let you know that you do have a choice this upcoming election day when it comes to the NIC Board of Trustees. Mr. Todd Banducci and is being challenged by Mr. Greg Gfeller Even though this seat is a “non-partisan” seat, we all know that each candidate is backed by groups with opposing viewpoints. Mr. Gfeller ran as a Republican for the Idaho State House of Representatives two years ago against two other gentlemen and came in last place. We all believed that he was a Republican. Now he is running for this seat and is backed by a left-leaning establishment.

If you did not know, Todd has toed the line on fiscal restraint and kept the budget under control with the students and taxpayers in mind. This has caused great angst with three of the board members. These three members drew up the current “Trustee Zones” so the two fiscally responsible trustees ended up in the same zone; this is one reason Trustee Ron Nilson resigned earlier this year. Now these remaining trustees are trying to “get rid” of Mr. Banducci by backing a former Republican. Don’t let them do this; Todd is the only board member that votes with all the Kootenai County citizens in mind. He wants to know where the money goes and why it is spent. He is not a rubber stamp board member. Please consider voting for Mr. Todd Banducci when you go to the polls.
