VOTE: No excuses allowed

The editorial in Sunday’s paper said exactly what I’ve been thinking, but I wouldn’t have said it as nice.

What are you thinking, people? We have the free, God-given right to vote for the leaders of our city, county, state and country, and only 23 percent take the time — 15-20 minutes — to go and vote! What excuse is good enough to keep you from voting time after time? I just don’t understand.

I don’t know if anything will make you exercise the right to vote but I hope you will all consider thinking about it. A huge vote is coming up soon and it’s very important that you get out and vote — so do it!
