PRO-LIFE: Has a new face

So now pro-life churches are picketing each other? Why? The tradition of judging outsiders as kindred-minded military funeral protests by some sanctimonious Kansas simpletons lives on! Being pro-life can be wonderful but it is not the be-all-end-all for any Christian. Or anyone.

Don’t these acrimonious abortion abolitionists realize the country is less white, less married and less churched than ever before? So the real pro-lifers don’t even look like us or go to our pro-life churches.

Now too many pro-life families have live-in boyfriends or absentee dads who come over for conjugal visits, not forsaking government handouts for their latest trophies.

Now too many grandparents are raising grandkids.

Now we marry far less. In 1946, there were almost 18 new marriages for every 1,000 Americans.

Now it is down to six and half new marriages for every 1,000 Americans.

But we’re pro-life! And pro-traditional marriage! We’re just pro-life without marriage, which means four times the poverty. And government handouts.

But how can any church or school or home school affirm what a parent denies? Kids emulate parents. Pro-life and morally challenged as they may be. We reap what we sow.

But by all means, judge outsiders despite 1 Corinthians 5: 12 and 13. And so it goes.
