ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF KELLOGG, IDAHO PHASE 2 SANITARY SEWER, WATER MAIN, AND ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Phase 2 Sanitary Sewer, Water Main, and Roadway Improvements will be received by the City of Kellogg at 1007 McKinley Avenue, Kellogg, ID, 83837, until 2:00 pm local time on June 22, 2016. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. The Central Shoshone County Water District is an intended third party beneficiary to the contract. The project is located in the Bunker Hill Superfund Site. Soils are known to be contaminated by heavy metals that are associated with historic mining wastes. Contractor shall comply with OSHA HAZWOPER regulations 29 CFR 1910.120 including HAZWOPER training for employees engaged in the work in accordance with OSHA regulations. The Contractor must have a current ICP license from the Panhandle Health District prior to receiving Notice to Proceed. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates Apply to a portion of the project. Contractor is required to own a current copy of the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction (ISPWC) to bid the project.
