Beverly Jane Benjamin, 85

Beverly Jane Benjamin, 85, beloved wife and mother, passed away May 19, 2016, in Madison, Wis. She was born to Ben and Stella Straalsjoe in Elk River, Idaho.

She grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1948. In 1950, she married Dale Benjamin in Coeur d’Alene. They spent many years in Wisconsin and Connecticut with Dale’s GTE career. In their retirement years, they lived in North Carolina enjoying their golf and antique cars.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dale; daughter Cyndee Stracka; sons Pat Benjamin, Chris Benjamin and Matt Benjamin; sister Norma Lindsay; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two nephews.

Beverly spent her life serving others and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Graveside services will be held.
