KNIGHT: Arrives on time

On May 8 as I was on my way to church, I had a flat tire. A friend from church saw me and stopped, but although either of us could change a tire, we both had our church clothes on and were hesitant to dirty them. I was on the phone to my highway assistance company when a knight in shining armor on a white horse rode up to my rescue.

Well, since it is 2016, it was more like a good looking guy in jeans and a white pickup. He had my flat tire off and the toy tire on in about 15 minutes and I wasn’t even late to choir practice.

Thank you, Dan. You were certainly a knight in my eyes. What a testament to good deeds, especially for a grandmother on Mother’s Day. You have earned another star in your crown, Dan.
