Jeffery Allen Myers, 50

Jeffery Allen Myers, 50, of Juliaetta, Idaho, passed away on April 7, 2016, of natural causes. He was born on May 12, 1965, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Dennis Myers and Paula (Hamby) Schaffer.

Jeff spent most of his childhood growing up in the Coeur d’Alene area. There he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and camping in the mountains. Upon graduation from Lakeland High School in Rathdrum, Idaho, Jeff moved to the Vancouver, Wash., area where he attended Clark College to obtain certifications in the auto painting program. He worked at several auto body shops in the Vancouver area, including many years at Todd’s Auto Body.

Jeff married Kimi Mattox (Myers) in 1992 and had a baby girl, Hayley, in 1994. While living in Vancouver, he attended Crossroads Community Church. In the summer of 2014, Jeff moved back to his roots in Idaho and started his own auto body and paint shop, Diamond Collison, where he worked until his death.

Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Paula Schaffer; his grandparents, Minnie and Alford Hamby; his grandparents, Stephen and Irene Myers; uncle Phillip Hamby and aunt Linda Bean.

Jeff is survived by his beloved daughter, Hayley Myers and son-in-law Rodolfo Moreno; father and stepmother, Dennis and Roberta (Rockie ) Myers; sister Kristie Myers; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Mark Pelphrey; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A family memorial is planned for a later date.
