PREP LACROSSE: Steiner saves it for Coeur d'Alene

COEUR d’ALENE — Coeur d’Alene goalie Ryan Steiner had four saves in the last eight seconds of the game, helping Coeur d’Alene beat Lake City 12-11 in Idaho Lacrosse League Division II quarterfinal tournament game Wednesday at the Irma Anderl Soccer Complex.

Coeur d’Alene scored in the middle of the fourth period to go ahead for good.

Cameron Chun had four goals and two assists and Zach Brown had three goals for Lake City.

Coeur d’Alene was paced by Harrison Davies’ four goals and two assists and Chandler Johnson added three goals.

Lake City finishes the season 9-4.

Coeur d’Alene (11-2) will go to Boise or host a team from Boise, depending on who won in the Treasure Valley Lacrosse League next Saturday.
