Warriors add state qualifier
Carlson from Lake City
LEWISTON — The Lewis-Clark State College track and field program announced the signing of Lake City High senior Alison Carlson.
Carlson placed at least third in six out of seven events she competed so far this season. Her personal best of 124 feet, 1 inch in the discus was set during the 5A Region 1 meet where she finished second, qualifying her for the state meet Friday and Saturday at Dona Larsen Park in Boise.
During her time at Lake City High, she earned four varsity letters, three in track and field and one in cheerleading, while also competing in volleyball and basketball.
“We believe Ali Carlson will be an asset to our program; she is a state ranked discus thrower with huge potential for continued growth and development,” L-C State assistant coach Stogy Sandahl said.
