The Village at Orchard Ridge recently held its annual meeting and elected three new members to its Board of Directors. Agreeing to serve 3-year terms were Brad Blodnick, Mary Morrow and Rochelle Wineinger.

• Blodnick is a financial associate at Thrivent Financial. His office is one block north of the Orchard Ridge campus on Lincoln Way. He has been an active volunteer at The Garden and enjoys interacting with the residents. Blodnick also volunteers at the Community Action Partnership Food Bank. He is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.

• Morrow is very familiar with the nonprofit world as well as the business world. She has her MBA from the University of South Dakota and worked for several years as a business management consultant in Minneapolis. Morrow moved to Coeur d’Alene with her husband, Rev. Bob Albi, who is the pastor of Lutheran Church of the Master. She also owns Laughing Cobra Yoga where she teaches four to 10 classes weekly. She is presently a spiritual care volunteer for Hospice of North Idaho.

• Wineinger moved from Kansas City to Coeur d’Alene in 2003 with her husband, David, and three children. She worked several years as an ICU nurse, but after having children, decided to devote her time to raising her family. During that time, Wineinger has served on a number of committees at Holy Family Catholic School, the Parish Council at St. Pius X, and has volunteered at the No One Shall Die Alone program.

“We are privileged to have Brad, Mary and Rochelle join the board” said Kent Green, director of development at Orchard Ridge. “Their experience and insight will be an asset to Orchard Ridge as we move towards the future.”

Sponsored by 22 area churches, The Village at Orchard Ridge is uniquely equipped to care for the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of its Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s/dementia residents. Its mission, spanning 95 years, is to provide a faith-based, loving home that honors older adults.

River City Physical Therapy announced the addition of Eric Verhaeghe to its Coeur d’Alene office, 370 E. Kathleen Ave., Suite 500. Verhaeghe has been in practice at River City Physical Therapy’s Post Falls Office for 20 years. With the expansion of an additional 2,500 square feet to the Coeur d’Alene office, Verhaeghe will now be at that location full time. River City Physical Therapy has also added Brett C. Johnson, PT as a full-time therapist in its Post Falls Clinic. He comes with a specialty in Postural Restoration.
