30th Anniversary

James Hobart and Kelley (Nichols) Hobart, of Hayden, are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary.

James works as a software consultant. Kelley retired from working as a Registered Nurse.

Their children are Brandon Hobart of Spokane and Lauren Hobart of Boise.

They celebrated their anniversary on March 22, 2016, in Bali.

ENGAGEMENT

Butler-Smyly

Todd and Nancy Butler are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sydney Miah Butler to Mark Patrick Smyly, son of Patrick and Paula Smyly, all of Coeur d’Alene.

Sydney graduated high school from Lake City High School in 2011. She then went on to study and graduate with her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Idaho in 2015. She is a sixth-grade teacher at Lakes Magnet Middle School. Mark graduated high school from Lake City High School in 2011. He then went on to study and graduate from Washington State University with his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience in 2015. He graduated with his pre-medicine qualifications and is currently applying to medical schools.

The couple will be united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Coeur d’Alene.
