PREP TENNIS: Locals vie for titles in 5A boys, mixed doubles

5A

COEUR d’ALENE — Brock Tanya and Seth Priebe of Coeur d’Alene will face Logan Hall and Trevor Barlow of Post Falls in the boys doubles championship match of the Region 1 tournament, following play Friday at Coeur d’Alene and Lake City high schools.

In mixed doubles, the Post Falls team of Meghan McLeod and Hunter Schertz will face Chris Vargas and CC Cates of Lake City in the championship match.

The tourney concludes today, with all matches scheduled for Coeur d’Alene High. All singles are in the semifinal rounds, starting at 10 a.m.
