Women Creating Success event planned for June 10

The Women Creating Success Conference put on by the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce will be June 10 this year.

Tickets are $59 for chamber members and $79 for non-members.

The conference will be held at the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn. There are still openings for booths and the Chamber of Commerce is seeking more supporting sponsorships.

The conference is focused on motivating and giving women tools to be successful in the workplace and in life. Men are invited to the conference as well.

There will be presentations and workshops focusing on bettering communication and using social media and technology to one’s advantage. People will also share their stories of overcoming obstacles in the workplace and their lives.

Companies and organizations will have booths to give out information about what they do. Marilee Wallace, membership director for the Chamber of Commerce, said the conference will be similar to a business expo.
