AMADOR: Because he's needed

| May 12, 2016 9:00 PM

Our Coeur d’Alene community is lucky to have the chance to vote for Paul Amador in the upcoming primary election. Paul is a candidate of great character, strong leadership, and thoughtful decision-making. As a valued and active member of this community, I know he is the right candidate.

What do we need in our next state representative? We need someone who understands the importance of education, the complexities of the healthcare system, and what it takes to support a thriving economy. Paul knows these issues. He has worked in education for years and has been a family business owner for much of his life. No matter what the issue, Paul does his research, talks to people involved, and works toward solutions that benefit everyone. What do we NOT need in our state representative? We do not need someone who votes no on everything and offers no solution in return. We do not need someone who votes only the way party leadership and her political pals want her to vote. Kathy Sims is not the right person.

If you are tired of the ways things have been running in our state and local community, then it means we need to change the people running them. We need smart, reasonable representation from someone who understands the nature of cooperation and the issues facing our state. We need Paul Amador.
