CHEATHAM: Vote of confidence

| May 11, 2016 9:00 PM

This letter serves as our recommendation for Rep. Don Cheatham, who is completing his first two-year term representing the people of District 3 in the Idaho House of Representatives.

During his first term, Rep. Cheatham has been assigned to three House Committees: State Affairs, Local Government, and Judiciary, Rules & Administration. He brings a wealth of real-life experience to his legislative position, with a background in security and law enforcement. That experience serves him well as he deals with legislation on the widely diverse topics that come before these committees.

Rep. Cheatham is a conscientious and reliable legislator who works hard to represent his constituents well. He is thoughtful, prudent and deliberative. He is willing to listen to all sides of an issue and work collaboratively with his fellow legislators to arrive at what is best for his constituents and the people of Idaho. He is humble and honest, two characteristics that serve anyone well, but particularly those who are privileged to hold public office.

We are pleased to write this letter of support for Rep. Don Cheatham, and we wish him well as he seeks reelection.

REP. SCOTT BEDKE, Speaker of the House

REP. MIKE MOYLE, Majority Leader

REP. BRENT CRANE, Assistant Majority Leader

REP. JOHN VANDER WOUDE, Caucus Chairman
