Arthur Dwayne (Butch) Zimmerman, 70

Arthur Dwayne (Butch) Zimmerman, 70 years old, passed away April 28, 2016, from complications of congestive heart failure. He was born April 14, 1946, in Boise, Idaho.

Art went to grade school and high school in Alaska, and was home schooled by his mother at their Alaska homestead, through the eighth grade.

Art joined the Army and served two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed the outdoors very much: hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed singing karaoke with friends and family.

Art had three children: Judith Renee and Christine Marie, both living in Texas, and Arthur Dwayne Jr. in Alaska. Art had two older sisters, Connie Monday (deceased) and Dee Schroeder of Nebraska; and two younger twin sisters, Jeanie Williams of Wasilla, Alaska, and Eileen Fleming of Hayden Lake, Idaho; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Art was preceded in death by his father and mother, Art and Betty Zimmerman; and his older sister, Connie.

There will be a celebration of life for Art (Butch) at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the clubhouse of the Sun Aire Estates mobile home park on Wyoming Avenue. English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
