| May 7, 2016 9:00 PM

The Friends of the Community Library Network’s spring book sale is just around the corner. The sale takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hayden Library on Friday, May 13, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14.

“We have closets full of boxes stacked dangerously high and each is filled with books,” said longtime volunteer Jean Piske.

The types of books that will be offered include hard and soft back books covering everything from atlases to Zeus. Among them are war histories, sports titles, illustrated fine art and “how to” arts and crafts books. Audio-visual CDs, DVDs, books on CDs, VHS of children’s beloved stories, and TV series are also for sale.

Everything is bargain-priced and all proceeds go to support programs throughout the Library Network.
