VOTE: For these six
I’ve always been surprised at how many people think we should cut government spending — just not their favorite project.
When the North Idaho Republican PAC supports an education program, the argument is that if the State of Idaho gives a million and a half dollars, the federal government will give three million (of supposedly free money).
Kathy Sims is criticized for voting “no” on projects, but how much can we spend when we are looking at a $19 trillion (with a “T”) debt.
U.S. Senator Mike Crapo is on the Senate Banking Committee and the Senate Finance Committee. He has been warning us for several years that if we continue in the direction we are going, our economy could collapse. He warns that it won’t happen gradually — it will happen overnight! Then we will wish we had more politicians who voted against all the “free” programs.
Kathy Sims was chairman of the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee for 12 years. She has worked on city, county, state and national projects. She’s been hardworking, fair and generous — with her own money.
It takes a lot more courage to vote “no” than to go along with the crowd. It’s easy to spend other people’s money.
If you want to save our state and our nation, vote for Kathy Sims, Vito Barbieri, Ron Mendive, Don Cheatham and Art Macomber and U.S. Senator Mike Crapo.
