SIMS: Dedicated servant

Kathy Sims is the right person to represent us as our State Representative in Boise. She has always made herself available to listen to the concerns of the citizens in her district. She has worked diligently to bring those concerns to the forefront for further discussions.

Kathy spends many hours researching bills that come before her in the House of Representatives. She doesn’t just vote on a bill without thoroughly researching all the pros and cons for each argument. Kathy has often been criticized for voting no on some bills. That is because she studies the bill entirely and many times finds language that makes it absolutely clear why she should vote against the bill. Sometimes there is vague and unreliable language that has unintended consequences written into a bill. She not only goes to Boise to pass the good bills, but she is also there to make sure that the bad bills don’t pass.

Kathy, unlike Nancy Pelosi, would never vote for a bill before finding out exactly what is in it. Just because a bill sounds good, does not mean that it is good for all of the constituents that it may affect. She is a very dedicated person, and cares very much about all of the regulations and rules that will affect the citizens she represents.

Kathy has lived in Coeur d’Alene all of her life. What happens in our area and the whole State of Idaho is very important to her. She has raised her family here, and has established a very successful local business. Now more than ever, we need a person with experience who we can trust and unquestionably count on. Kathy will always look out for our best interests.
