Andrus endorses Piotrowski for Congress

Former four-term governor and secretary of the interior Cecil Andrus announced his endorsement of congressional Democratic candidate James Piotrowski.

Piotrowski, a civil rights and employment attorney in Boise, is running to unseat incumbent Rep. Raúl Labrador in November.

“Idaho residents deserve leadership in Congress that puts Idaho interests first. That’s why I wholeheartedly endorse James Piotrowski for U.S. Representative in Idaho’s 1st Congressional District race.” Andrus said. “James’ work in Idaho on behalf of working people, and in protecting and enhancing our public lands, have demonstrated his ability to bring people together to resolve difficult problems. He will apply that same common sense, inclusive and collaborative approach to serving the 1st District in Congress.”
