RASMUSSEN: Forthright, honest

Duane Rasmussen is our choice for Kootenai County commissioner. I’ve known Duane since about 2002 and have always known him to be a forthright and honest man. Duane’s 38+ years as an attorney, including his work as an Assistant Oklahoma Attorney General, will certainly be an added bonus for the KBOCC, ensuring that their decisions are within county code and state law.

I had the pleasure of shooting on the same Trap team as Duane at the Hauser Lake Gun Club Winter League. Duane is also a Life Member of the NRA, I realize that the KCBOCC doesn’t enact state firearms laws, but it’s nice for Kootenai County residents to know where a candidate stands on an issue that is so important to Idahoans.

Duane is sensible and deliberate and will be a welcome addition to the KCBOCC. Please join my wife and me in voting for Duane Rasmussen for county commissioner.
