FILLIOS: Right for county

| May 4, 2016 9:00 PM

There is a choice for the Kootenai County commissioner who meets all the requirements of the elected position. That choice is Chris Fillios, who has resided in Kootenai County for 16 years, married to Linda, and has two grown children, daughter Melanie and son Eugene. Chris attended school back on the East Coast and holds a master’s degree in international politics and a bachelor’s degree in political science. He ran and was elected a commissioner of the East Side Highway District. His full-time profession is an associate broker with Tomlinson Sotheby’s Realty.

I have known, and Chris has been a friend of myself and my wife’s, for more than eight years. We respect and would vote for Chris to represent us and the public society within any area he has an interest. Well-educated, experienced and respectful for what is needed to represent, run and vote for Kootenai County residents. He is held in high esteem by his fellow highway district members and spends his time and efforts where it has paid off. Cast your vote for the person best qualified and for the person who can handle the agenda of Kootenai County and spend our money where it is most needed and keep the budget balanced. With the other two commissioners, Chris knows how to take on the responsibilities and maintain the working, friendly relationship to keep our government moving and on the right path.

Cast your vote where it will do the most good and elect Chris Fillios as District 2 county commissioner in the May 17 primary election. God bless you.
