Billie E. Randall, 87

| May 4, 2016 9:00 PM

Billie E. Randall, 87, peacefully succumbed to a two-year battle with a lung disease she courageously fought. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at her home on Saturday, July 2, 2016.

Billie Eleanor Tribble was born on Sept. 19, 1928, in Johnson City, Tenn. She was the daughter of John and Nancy Tribble, and was one of six children. As an infant her family relocated to Hanford, Calif., where she spent her formative years. There she met and married Frank A. Randall.

After Frank’s military duties were completed, they moved to his hometown of Moscow, Idaho. There they started a family and spent their first years together working a small dairy farm. They gave up farming and began building custom homes throughout the town and on their former farm land. Billie worked by Frank’s side on each house he built. She was truly the right-hand man, insulating and painting each home.

A career change was once again made in 1969. Frank, Billie and their youngest daughter moved to Post Falls, Idaho, where Frank became an employee of the Boise Cascade modular homes. This move felt like retirement for the couple. Instead of the seven-day work week, they now had more time to enjoy life. They joined a bowling league, played golf four or five times a week, and were passionate workers in the garden and yard. Billie also found time to take up oil painting. She created beautiful works of art that filled her home and several pieces for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Randall and son Ron Randall. She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Cenell in Boise and Reva Dubiak in Belfair, Wash. Her grandchildren include Lisa Randall, Ken Randall, Randy Cenell and Kristina Lawcynell. Her great-grandchildren include Eden Lillie Lawcynell, Dylan Russell Lawcynell and Jordan Russell Cenell. Billie also has two surviving sisters, Ethel Louise Coe in California and Mary Lies in Virgina.

Billie taught us to work hard, play hard, keep your home clean and tidy, and love your family beyond measure. We loved her dearly and she will always have a special place in our heart.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice.
