AMADOR: In touch with voters

| May 4, 2016 9:00 PM

North Idaho District 4B finally has a choice for strong and sensible representation in the Idaho House of Representatives. Paul Amador is running for the seat currently held by Kathy Sims, and Paul is by far the better choice.

Our community has been misrepresented for too long. Kathy Sims is out of touch with the wishes of the majority of her constituents. She has actively opposed many projects that were largely supported by the community and have been resoundingly successful — the Kroc Center, the education corridor, the Coeur d’Alene Public Library, the McEuen renovation and the Behavioral Health Crisis Center, just to name a few. She knowingly spreads misinformation about our urban renewal districts and her lack of support of our education system at all of its levels has been appalling. Simply put, her service has been harmful to our city and state.

Paul’s background in dealing with education issues, experience as a small businessman, and extensive community involvement make him an excellent choice to be our next state representative. He believes in enhancing our education system through necessary funding and practical solutions, as well as supporting our economy and health care infrastructure with common sense legislation. Paul understands the serious issues facing our community, both local and statewide, and knows how to approach them in a rational manner. Where others hide behind ideology and refuse to fight for North Idaho, Paul is ready to stand strong for you and your family. Please join me in voting for Paul Amador on May 17.
