Animal Allies of Idaho receives Petco donation
Animal Allies of Idaho has received a $2,595 donation from the Petco Foundation/Petco Animal Supplies 2015 Tree of Hope fundraiser.
The holiday season fundraiser is a national program with each store choosing local animal nonprofit partners to share in the generosity of Petco customers and associates. The donation is the result of the Coeur d’Alene Petco store’s enthusiastic participation in the fundraiser.
“We are so very grateful for the many wonderful ways our Coeur d’Alene Petco store supports healthy, happy pets and especially for this much needed donation to Animal Allies. These funds will go directly to our voucher programs to lower the spay/neuter cost for people who need help to afford the procedure for their cats and dogs. Together we’re helping to help prevent future homeless pets and keeping our current pets healthier longer,” said Ronnee McGee, the founder and volunteer executive director.
Animal Allies has helped ‘fix’ more than 1,200 animals in just over two years, preventing possibly 9,600 cats and dogs each year for years to come.
