Retired educators to meet April 13

North Idaho Retired Educators will host the Region One Retired Educators District Conference April 13 at the Coeur d’Alene Casino.

Co-Presidents Doug Cresswell and Norma Seaton invite all retired educators to attend this conference, which includes the Lewiston, Moscow, and Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls chapters of the Idaho state organization.

The theme for the conference is “’Bee’ Retired and Rewired.” The one-day program of activities will include a welcome by Coeur d’Alene Casino CEO Dave Matheson and presentations by Ed Arndt, state president of Retired Educators; and Connie Bunch, executive secretary. Information provided will touch on legislation affecting education, the history of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, Idaho wildfires, bee-keeping, technology in education and a report from PERSI. The program includes entertainment by tribal dancers.

All retired educators are invited to attend.
