ACCIDENT: And new friends
My husband Lee and I are an elderly couple in Post Falls. He is 81 and I am 75. We had some bushes pulled out and hauled away to make room for a new fence in the yard. On March 18, we were out raking and pulling roots that were left, when a root Lee was pulling on came loose and he shot backward, landing on his back and head on the pavement.
Before I could call 911, a car stopped and a man and woman got out to help us. I later found out their names, John and Robin, but I never got their last name — darn. He was reporting to the military in a few days, but John sat down on the pavement beside Lee, and Robin pulled out her cell phone called 911. John sat on the pavement waiting for help to arrive, rubbing Lee’s hands because they were cold, while Robin picked up tools that were lying in the dirt and took them to the garage for me. That was so nice of them! I wish they would stop by to see us some time.
Then on March 22, a crew of six men came to our yard and raked all the dirt level. They were from Foundation Kings.
We would like to thank all of you who gave your time to help us out of a bad accident. Lee is getting better every day.
