Work to close U.S. 95 ramps, shoulders

COEUR d’ALENE — Motorists should watch for shoulder closures along U.S. 95 between the U.S. 95 underpass and the Fourth Street underpass in Coeur d’Alene Wednesday and Thursday, March 23-24. The closures are necessary for digging test pits into the slope above the roadways and outside shoulders.

The eastbound shoulder from U.S. 95 through Fourth Street will be closed for the work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 23. There also will be a ramp shoulder closure for the eastbound on-ramp at U.S. 95.

The westbound shoulder from Fourth Street through U.S. 95 will be closed for work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, along with the westbound off-ramp shoulder at U.S. 95.

Traffic control devices and a flagger will help safely guide traffic through the work zones.
