William Benton Stookey, 92

William Benton Stookey, 92, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.

He was predeceased by the mother of his children, Jo Ann Stookey; his wife, Lois Stookey; his sisters, George Ann Stookey and Nancy Whitney; brother Allen Stookey; and sons Allen and William Stookey.

He is survived by his wife of four years, Doris Stookey; his children by Jo Ann: Sheryl Dobol, James Stookey, John Stookey, Karen Hansen and Nancy Grasseschi; Lois’s children: Nancy Barr, John Davison and Nina Drake; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 9485 N. Maple St, Hayden, Idaho. Visitation is at 9 a.m.; service is at 10 a.m.
